COVID-19 Safety Guidelines (as of 2/3/21):
- We will have a signup board for using equipment like saws and grinders. If there is a crowd, we will limit the number of people.
- The cut room, people can go in, set up their rock, turn on the machine and leave the area.
- There are good exhaust fans in the shop, but still only two people plus a monitor will be allowed in the cut room at the same time.
- No more than 3 people will be allowed in the saw room at a time.
- Every other machine is flagged to not be used so we can maintain social distancing when using equipment.
- The trim saw may be temporarily placed outside in the open air.
- People are required to wear a face mask covering their mouth and nose when indoors and within close proximity of others.
- Disinfectant sprays are available throughout the building. Feel free to disinfect frequently touched areas throughout the day.
- Hand sanitizer is available throughout the building. Be sure to use hand sanitizer and/or wash your hands.
- Social distancing is key to slow the spread.
- Please be respectful of the health and safety requirements of others regardless of what your personal beliefs are.
- If you are feeling sick or experiencing any COVID symptoms, be sure to stay home and follow CDC guidelines.
